ENWAT Alumni Dr.-Ing. Amin E. Bakhshipour was awarded the dissertation prize of the Friedrich and Elisabeth Boysen Foundation as well as the study award of the AQUA Foundation of the University of Stuttgart for his dissertation "Optimizing hybrid decentralized systems for sustainable urban drainage infrastructures planning". The Friedrich and Elisabeth Boysen prize, which is endowed with 5,000 euros and was presented by Prof. Fasoulas, is currently the largest financial prize that the University of Stuttgart awards for dissertations. The AQUA Foundation prize is awarded to water-related theses at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Stuttgart.
